Working from home could be your dream, but you have fears… what are you really scared of?  Success?

The truth is that most of your worries about working from home are not valid fears.  Let’s address a few of these fears today:

• Fear #1 - What will people think? - Who really cares what people think?  If you were able to make a living while never leaving home and grow wealth above the average employee, what are you waiting for?  To be honest, most people don’t look down on a home business owner, it’s the type of business that gets the ill looks.  Just consider strongly whether you really want to start a monkey farm in your basement.
• Fear #2 - What about benefits and health insurance?  Ok, valid concern, but here’s the good news, you have thousands of opportunities at your fingertips.  As for benefits, sick days and vacations are yours for the taking.  Health care premiums are cheaper as individual policies most of the time and there are companies that specialize in home business owners health needs.
• Fear #3 - What if I fail?  Well, what if you don’t.  The TRUTH is that there is no real security in your current job.  You may think there is but look at the trends in just the last six years alone with big business laying off tens of thousands of employees.  These people are not only out of a job, but are wondering where they are going to get their next check from.  You have a better rate of success with something you can control.
• Fear #4 - Will I be able to do it?  This is entirely up to you.  You can only do what you are willing to do and willing to ‘learn’ to do.  Don’t think that starting a home business will just automatically begin making money, it could, but the chances are better that your first year will be tight.  Starting a home business gradually may be a better transition for some.

Honestly, one of your biggest fears should be the fear of success.  What will you do when it works?  How will you invest your time and money?  What happens if your home based business takes off and begins to require more than you imagined.
