You have the greatest idea in the world but you just don’t know what to do.  Following a few simple development strategies can get your home business idea jump started into a reality.

1. Be slow to share.  Don’t jump off the wagon trying to tell everyone you know about your idea, especially your close friends.  Being verbal too quickly can cause discouragement for you and your friends.  Often times, people either believe in us too much or too little.  Either way, you need to have a strategy in place before going public in a grand scale.
2. Find a partner.  Not necessarily a business partner, but someone who can give you some practical advice about YOU and your home business idea.  This person should be a real confidant, not a lose mouthed person.
3. Organize your thoughts.  Put your plan on paper.  What you are trying to accomplish will be much clearer once it is written down.
4. Develop a strategy.  Not only a plan of action but a time line with deadlines.  Not putting deadlines down on paper will just make a nice talking topic for the future.
5. Act.  Once your plan is in place, get on it!  Don’t wait around, make steps to progress and succeed!
