Working From Home

Although most people will tell you that working until it’s done is a sign of dedication and will bring success because of ‘hard’ work, what they don’t realize is that your work is half done at best. Sometimes as a home business owner, you feel that this is the only way you can stay ahead.
When you push through 1 and 2 AM to meet a deadline or close a project you may think that your are being productive but the truth is that your mental state and focus are completely off.
As your body and mind get tired you are no longer a clear thinker. Your focus on a task becomes tunneled and creativity is reduced to recollection at times.
If you go several days working late, you will discover that you are unable to concentrate even during the day and then you are unable to truly rest at night.
Once your body clock is off, the focus on a successful business is no longer available and your decisions will greatly suffer.
Keep this pattern up long enough, you will eventually fall into a state of mental fatigue or depression. Once you have arrived to this state your home business will most likely fail if you are unable to recover.
At times you may have to work late but realize that any work that requires focus and a sharp mind is best left for the morning hours.
I know that many people will argue this based on experience, but imagine if they put sleep to the test for a few weeks. Success awaits those in good focus and with clarity of thought.
