Over the last 30 years the  "American Dream" has become  a real formula for success:  Go to college, get a job, make money, retire rich and invest the rest.

Unfortunately, this formula is failing for the majority of the population.  A recent study has shown that college graduates are not making the starting salaries that they used to aquire.  Not only are the starting salaries waining, but raises are not seemingly important to most industries either.

This doesn’t follow every industry or market, but as a whole it is factual.  The truth is that even job security is falling short in America.  Recently a client who had been with a large retailer for over 20 years was asked to resign for a ‘cost cutting’ need for the corporation.

He is now facing a six-figure reduction in salary in order to find work.

More and more professionals are realizing that in order to truly have security, or a at least a better stab at security for the future, they must be in control of their own income.

This being the case, working from home is quickly becoming a viable and practical way to make money and good money.

When one has been employed for so long it is a huge change to consider moving into business for yourself.  If you have never thought of working for yourself from home, give it some real thought for it may be the best option for a secure financial future.
