Questions to Ask When Evaluating a Work From Home Opportunity
August 31st, 2006 by admin
There are plenty of good opportunities out there for work at home jobs. However, they require work and dedication. But others take your money in "set-up" and "supply" fees without offering much in return. Before agreeing to any home business opportunity, and definitely before handing over personal information or money, ask a few questions. The answers (or lack therof) could alert you to a work from home opportunity that really is not much of an opportunity:
- Find out exactly what tasks you will be performing.
- Ask whether you will have a salary or whether your earnings will be strictly commission. Find out how much of both.
- Know who will pay you, and how often.
- Get a definitive answer on when you will receive your first paycheck.
- Learn the total cost of the work at home opportunity, including equipment and supply costs, membership fees and whether you have to pay for products and Web space.
- Be very frank about finding out what you will get for your money.
