Don’t Forget the Merchant Account
September 29th, 2006 by admin
A merchant account is a special account set up through a bank or through an ISO (Independent Sales Organization) that can arrange for your home business to accept credit card payments. This can be very important to your work at home business, since it allows you to know that you are getting your money immediately. However, you will have to pay set-up fees and a percentage of each credit card transaction will also be charged as a fee.
Using PayPal
One way you can alleviate some of the costs associated with a merchant account is to use PayPal. If you have a smaller business that does not make a great deal of money each month, PayPal can offer an interesting solution, as well as help you accept credit cards for your work from home business.
