I had now idea, but I guess there is a holiday that has been on going now for about six years that is called the bathrobe holiday.  This was created by a woman for all work at home professionals. It is a celebration of the entrepreneur spirit and I thought it was a great idea.  The bathrobe is now considered a symbol, according to one article, to the growing numbers of professionals who work from home.  Many of these professionals are stay at home mothers who have chosen to put their families ahead of their careers and yet they have been able to maintain a balance between work and family.

You have to give these women credit. I spoke with a friend of mine who happens to be a stay at home mother.  She works remotely for a company from home and she told me just how difficult it can be.  The needs and plans of the family are constantly on her mind and she feels like she has to have the answers for everyone, including her employer. I gained a new respect for her because for the first time I understood the pressures faced by mothers all over the world. Come back for more information on this and other subjects.
