Flextime is a term that has become more and more common. Flextime is basically work time that is used for other purposes, like personal time. Some employers allow their associates to have flextime, but also expect them to use some of their personal time for work. The typical workday has lengthened significantly, but this also means that workers are also having more play time while on the job.
