Here is some interesting news for all of those professionals who work at home.  A recent study recently confirmed that an astonishing twenty percent of all jobs in America are self employment jobs, and out of these, nearly one third are start up companies by people who are over fifty years old. This means that there are a large amount of people who are reaching their retirement age and then setting off on their own. This is really a remarkable development if you think about it.

Just twenty years ago, these numbers would be significantly different because many people, once they reached retirement age, were content to live out the rest of their days in their home without having to work.
