Work at Home: Tips for telecommuting.
I recently read an article posted on Microsoft’s website concerning tips about telecommuting. In this day and age, companies are looking to cut costs and are using telecommuting as a tool for the trade. The high cost of overhead and the costs of renting or purchasing a facility have led many forward thinking companies to access their workers most valuable asset…..their home. Why work at home? This will benefit many people, and I am sure that there are many people out there who would much rather work from the comfort of their home rather than an office.
This could also help the environment as commuting would not be an issue. This would ease the traffic and bring down the pollution. Of course, you will need to have a good internet connection whether you are using cable, DSL, satellite, or dial up, you will need to ensure that your source is reliable. Your computer will also need to be reliable and virus free. It will be difficult for the I.T. professionals to fix your computer if it has a lot of bugs or needs repair.
